Our course is built around 6 pillars, known as the STORK'S COMPASS  — our signature approach to helping you prepare for your journey into parenthood.

Each week brings these principles to life, giving you the knowledge and tools to approach birth and early parenthood with greater confidence.

Week 1: Introduction to Hypnobirthing

Start your journey with an introduction to our Signature Birthing Approach and discover how hypnobirthing can help you feel calm, confident and in control. Learn simple breathing, relaxation and visualisation techniques to use during pregnancy, labour and throughout parenthood — tools you can carry with you long after your baby is born.

Week 2: All Things Labour & Birth

Understand all birth scenarios, explore your options & learn practical tools to feel prepared for different birth experiences. With extensive experience supporting women in labour, I'll help you feel informed, confident and supported.

Week 3: Infant Feeding

Explore breastfeeding, bottle feeding and combination feeding with practical, evidence-based guidance to help you feel informed and confident. I’m passionate about supporting families with their feeding choices, whatever their journey may look like.

Week 5: Women Only Session

Building on the first four weeks, this relaxed women-only session brings everything together, with space to ask questions, revisit key topics and practise breastfeeding positions using life-size dolls. We'll also explore feeding, birth, your body and the transition into motherhood.

Week 4: The 4th Tri & Newborn Care

Prepare for life with your newborn, covering essential baby care, safe sleep, settling, bathing and the fourth trimester, alongside perinatal mental health awareness to support your wellbeing as you transition into parenthood.

Beyond The Course

Your support doesn’t end there. Build friendships and stay connected with your group as you continue your journey into parenthood.

You'll also receive your own hypnobirthing kit, including guided audios, plus a special Stork Beginnings welcome gift to enjoy during your pregnancy.

Because you’re not just joining a course — you’re joining a community.

What Makes Stork Beginnings Different?

Midwife (RM, BA, MSc) Health Visitor & Future Lactation Consultant

Expertise

You're not just learning from an antenatal teacher. Stork Beginnings is led by a dual-trained midwife and health visitor, with experience supporting women through pregnancy, labour and birth, and families through the early years. I'm also currently training to become an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant), bringing a particular passion and growing specialist knowledge in infant feeding.

Pregnancy to Parenthood

All in one place

Our course goes beyond traditional birth preparation. You'll learn about hypnobirthing, labour and birth, infant feeding, newborn care, safe sleep and perinatal mental health, helping you prepare for the reality of life with your baby — not just the day they arrive. The aim is to leave you feeling informed, capable and ready for parenthood.

Empower your birth journey.
