Support – Birth is a team effort. Learn how to build a strong support system, how your birth partner can advocate for you, and understand your birth rights to ensure your voice is heard.

Thriving Together – Birth is just the beginning. We’ll cover what to expect during the postpartum period, how to bond with your newborn and practical tips for adjusting to life as a new parent. We cover the emotional transition into parenthood, so you feel supported beyond birth.

Openness– Every birth is unique. We’ll help you stay flexible, understand different birth scenarios and feel confident in any situation. Learn how to stay adaptable in the face of changing circumstances, and gain the confidence to make informed decisions, whatever type of birth you have.

Resilience – A strong mindset is key to navigating the ups and downs of birth. Learn how to manage fear, work with your body’s natural hormones and reframe challenges as opportunities for empowerment.

Knowledge– The more you know, the more confident you’ll feel. We’ll break down the stages of labour, pain relief options, feeding choices and hands-on baby care preparation using life-size dolls, so you’re fully prepared. The Pain Gate Theory will be introduced, providing insight into how to manage discomfort naturally.

Practical Feeding Workshop Included

Feeding your baby is one of the most important aspects of early parenthood, and we dedicate time to covering all feeding options. This hands-on session includes:

  • Breastfeeding techniques & positions to find what works best for you.

  • How to tell if your baby is feeding effectively.

  • Expressing breast milk—when, why, and how.

  • How to make up formula feeds safely and bottle-feeding guidance including paced feeding techniques.

  • Understanding common feeding challenges like engorgement, mastitis, and latch issues, with practical solutions.

  • Responsive feeding cues—learning to recognise when your baby is hungry or full.

  • Whether you plan to breastfeed, bottle-feed, or combination feed, this session ensures you feel fully prepared.

Serenity– Calm and relaxation techniques are essential for a positive birth experience. We practice breathing techniques, visualisations, and hypnobirthing to help you stay focused, relaxed and in control during birth.

How It All Comes Together

  • Each class is two hours long and is designed to give you a balanced mix of education, practical skills, and relaxation. You’ll learn about all birth scenarios and baby care essentials, practice hypnobirthing techniques to promote confidence and calm, and take part in a hands-on baby care session each week, covering feeding, nappy changing, and soothing your newborn.
